What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund minus a 5% administration* fee up to 24 hours before your tour commences. After this time, payment is non-refundable but an alternative date may be booked for your tour.
How do I cancel my tour?
Please contact us through our contacts page on our website or send an email to barryivens@blueyonder.co.uk we will then arrange for your payment to be refunded. This can take up to 10 Business days to reach your credit card or bank account.
Will my driver be a qualified Guide?
Yes, all our Guides are fully qualified as not only a Licensed London Taxi Driver but have also undertaken a further Tour Guide Qualification.
Will my transport be wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all our London Taxis are able to accommodate a wheelchair & have an entry ramp to access the vehicle. All of our tours are suitable for people with mobility issues.
Can I bring my child’s push chair or pram?
Yes, babies & infants under 3 years old can travel without a car seat in the rear, making it legal for them to stay in their pram/buggy with the brakes on, usually facing backwards but it is highly recommended to secure it. Booster seats for older children can be provided. Please enquire in advance if you require a booster seat.
How many people can come on the tour?
Our London Taxis can accommodate up to 6 passengers.
What can I do if there are more than 6 people in my travel party?
Please contact us if this is the case as we can arrange for other vehicles to also undertake the tour. This will incur additional costs, please enquire for further details.
Can I request to see something specific on my tour?
Yes, please let us know any specific requests you have & we will do our best to accommodate your request & customise your tour.
Where can I be picked up from?
We can pick you up from your central London Hotel or accommodation or any location 3.5 miles measured from Trafalgar Square. Any further locations may incur additional costs, please enquire for further details. We are also able to pick up from Heathrow or Gatwick airports & Southampton or Tilbury Cruise Terminals this may incur additional costs. Please enquire for further details.
Where can I be dropped off after my tour?
We will usually return you to your pick up point but we are able to be flexible if you would like to be dropped at another central London location. Drop off at Heathrow or Gatwick Airport & Criuse Terminals may incur additional costs. Please enquire for further details.
Will I be able to tour inside the attractions?
We recommend that you visit the larger London attractions such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Catherdral, Tower of London & Buckingham Palace etc separately, as there will not be enough time during your tour. You will however visit the exteriors for photographs & we are happy to drop you at one of these attractions at the end of your tour so that you may visit in more detail.
Out of London attractions including Blenheim Palace, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Sandringham Palace & Highclere Castle etc, you will be able to tour inside, subject to the attraction’s opening dates & you will need to purchase entry tickets at an additional cost. Please enquire if you require assistance with this.
Will there be refreshments on my tour?
All our Guides will have bottled water on board. For our tours of 4 hours or less there will only be opportunities to grab refreshments quickly whilst on the go. For our tours over 4 hours, we will arrange a lunch stop for you or an afternoon tea. We have restaurants & pubs that we recommend. Please note that the cost of refreshments, lunch or afternoon tea are not included in the tour price & are to be paid for separately by the customer.
Will there be photo opportunities on my tour?
Definitely! You will have lots of opportunities to take your own photographs & our Guides will also take photographs of your group & send them to you within 48 hours. We may use some of these for our website or social media please let your Guide know if you do not want to appear.
What happens if it rains or the weather is poor on the day of my tour?
Your tour will still take place if the weather is poor & will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions such as deep snow, icy roads or flooding. If we are unable to proceed with your tour because of this, a refund will be given or your tour can be rearranged for an alternative date.
